It barely seems a month ago that Red Smed and the Hot Trot Smash the System Boogie band took to the Bridgwater Art Centre stage with a guest appearance (on every song) of legendary punk poet Attila the Stockbroker. Friday 14th November is famous for many things, World Diabetes Day. National Pickle Day, the Nazi bombardment of Coventry in 1940 and of course the birthday of the man born to be King of England.... Jawaharlal Nehru.
But in 2025 it was the Red Smed gig. Carefully recorded by devoted fan Martin Peters (not the footballer) we preserve it here for (and from) posterity.
